Dr Tam graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with Honors. He received his clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowship training in University of Michigan under Hong Kong Heart Foundation Scholarship. He is currently the Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology in Prince of Wales Hospital, Hong Kong. His research interest focuses on arrhythmia management, such as device implantation and complex arrhythmia ablation. He is also interested in research on utilisation of artificial intelligence to improve the safety and efficacy of cardiac procedures. In additional to research and teaching, he is also an international physician proctor for various ablation platforms and pacemaker devices.
