Professional Profile

Prof Ng is currently Associate Dean (Student Affairs) of the Faculty of Medicine, Chairman and Wei Lun Professor of Surgery of the Department of Surgery, and Chief of the Division of Colorectal Surgery, CUHK. He is an Honorary Consultant at Prince of Wales Hospital and the Cluster Service Team Head in Colorectal Surgery, New Territories East Cluster (NTEC), Hospital Authority. He is the Immediate Past President of the Hong Kong Society for Coloproctology, a Council Member of the Hong Kong IBD Society and the Hong Kong Society of Robotic Surgery, an Honorary Member of the Korean Society of Coloproctology and the Korean Association of Robotic Surgeons, the Secretary General of the Asia Pacific Endo-Lap Surgery Group, a Fellow of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (ASCRS), the International Chair of the Global Reach Committee of the European Society of Coloproctology (ESCP), and the Regional Vice President (Asia) of the International Society of University Colon and Rectal Surgeons.
